MARY JO'S APPLE-CRANBERRY SAUCE
1 1/2 cups chopped peeled Starr Ranch apples (about 1/2 pound)
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup white grape juice
1 t ground ginger
1 t ground cinnamon
1 (12-ounce) package fresh cranberries
Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer until thick (about 15 minutes), stirring occasionally. Cool completely.
