GTIN / PLU Stickers

GTIN stands for Global Trade International Number which is a 14 digit number that is company and item specific. This new formulation is meant to be used by the grower/shipper in order to identify where and who the product comes from. The digits are then programmed into a bar code on the sticker. This is just another way OSRG is tracking Food Safety and Electronic Traceability from the orchard to the retail level. Also included is the variety, country of origin and our 5 STARR icon that signifys the Starr Ranch brand.
