You are about to taste the KORU® Apple!!! Discovered as a chance seedling in Geoff Plunkett’s garden in New Zealand in 1998, KORU® is now in commercial production in New Zealand and the USA.
The KORU® is an accidental cross between Fuji and Braeburn, and the naturally perfected taste is unique! Crunchy, Juicy, Sweet, with a honey-flavored finish, this dense apple has a pleasing appearance—yellow/green background with a combination of red blush/stripe. It is a very hardy apple, with high pressures, and an excellent shelf life.
